Deschutes River
The Deschutes river is a gem among northwest rivers. Flowing 252 miles from the high cascades in central Oregon, the Deschutes is the largest spring fed river in the western United States. Trout fishing best dates are May-October and prime dates for Steelhead are September, October and November. With the full beauty of the canyon and surrounding wildlife it's easy to understand why this river has been declared a National Scenic Waterway. This world class fishery is only available to guides with exclusive BLM permits.

Deschutes Trout Fishing
Deschutes River host hard fighting wild rainbow trout. These fish are a special strain called the "Redband" trout. Beautiful coloration and difficult to land these feisty trout are a prized catch. Deschutes river primary hatches are caddis, stonefly, mayflies and midges. The stonefly or salmon fly hatch in the spring is world famous producing smashing surface takes on dry flies up to 3" long! Caddis and mayfly action can be excellent as well. Join us on an unforgettable adventure in the Deschutes river canyon for trout. Ask us about trout and steelhead combo trips.

Deschutes Trout-Overnight Trips
Enjoy the full experience of trout fishing, the beauty of the canyon and the comfort of riverside dining. Fish a full day on the water with your guide and float into camp for hor-dourvers and a relaxing drink. After a full dinner go hit the evening hatch or just relax and soak up the glow of the evening. Comfortable camps are pre-set riverside by our advance staff. Start your morning right with a full breakfast, hot coffee and amazing scenery. Overnight trout trips are 2-5 days.

Only 1 hour and 45 minutes from Portland and close to our favorite Deschutes River. Come experience a heavenly retreat where hungry feisty rainbows live without the pestering of crowds. Escape with us to a small stream raft float-trip reminiscent of Montana with-out the travel time. Wildlife abounds in this beautiful valley of towering cottonwoods, pine and buttes. Every day we see deer, ducks and other wildlife.

    Fishing can be fast and furious or tough and rewarding as each bend in the river brings a new piece of beautiful water. Rainbows average 8-14 inches with many fish up to 18". The opportunity for a truly trophy rainbow is there as we have landed fish up to 25"! These are amazing trophy fish for this size of small stream.
